Success Stories

Greggrie O’Garro

Greggrie O’Garro received my nomination to the United States Naval Academy in 2011. On the 27th he will be commissioned, serving as a surface warfare officer. His future plans included serving as a chaplain after his commitment is fulfilled. At the service academy, I noticed that he was a leader among his classmates. I am very proud of him and know that he will represent the United States and Texas well. Congratulations on your graduation Greggrie!

Justin Malone

Justin Malone received a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Air Force Academy. He will next be doing pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, TX.

Daniel Shellhouse

Photo with Daniel, his father, and Marine Major Seth Chambers.

He lettered in indoor track, outdoor track, and cross-country in each year except his freshman year (he walked-on to the team that year). His USAFA degree was a Bachelor of Science in Humanities with a minor in Russian. His first assignment is to earn a master's degree in literature (in residence) at the University of Colorado, at Boulder. After that he is scheduled for Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Vance AFB, OK.
