WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Ted Poe voted in support of H.R. 45, a bill to repeal Obamacare (the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act).

ìObamacare is a train wreck for America,î said Poe. ìThe Presidentís nationalized health care system is not about care; itís about control. It turns over personal health care choices to a group of unelected bureaucrats and increases health care costs for American families and businesses. Our health care system needs thoughtful change to lower costs, protect jobs and improve the quality of care, but that can only be done by repealing the nationalized healthcare law.î

Congressman Poe voted against the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and has repeatedly voted for its repeal.
